Planned Capabilities
LaunchPad currently ships ten service structures for Jira Service Management. These are the capabilities we are building next. If any of them would strengthen your environment, let us know — requests directly inform what ships and when.
Change Management
Service structure for change advisory boards, change types, and approval workflows. Gives your Jira Service Management environment a defined path from change request to implementation, with recorded risk assessments and approval chains.
Incident Management
Service structure for incident severity classification, communication plans, and post-incident reviews. Connects incidents to affected services so impact is visible immediately, not reconstructed after the fact.
SLA Management
Service structure for agreement tracking, service level targets, and breach alerting. Links agreements to the services and teams they cover, so reporting against commitments becomes a query rather than a spreadsheet exercise.
Knowledge Management
Service structure for knowledge bases, article ownership, and review cycles. Maps knowledge assets to the services they support, with clear ownership and scheduled review dates to prevent documentation decay.
Capacity Planning
Service structure for resource allocation, demand forecasting, and capacity tracking. Records team capacity against service demand so planning decisions are based on recorded data rather than corridor conversations.
Compliance and Audit
Service structure for regulatory requirements, audit evidence, and control mapping. Connects compliance obligations to the services and controls that satisfy them, making audit preparation a retrieval task rather than a research project.
Select the capabilities that would be most useful for your Jira Service Management environment. You can choose as many as you like.
