This Privacy Policy explains how Let's Talk Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the JSM LaunchPad application ("the App").

JSM LaunchPad is an Atlassian Marketplace application built on the Atlassian Forge platform for Jira Service Management Cloud.

Our Role

Let's Talk Solutions Ltd is the vendor of JSM LaunchPad.

The App runs entirely within the customer's Atlassian Cloud environment. We do not operate independent application servers for the App and we do not host customer Jira data.

The organisation that installs the App remains the controller of all data stored in its Jira Service Management instance.

The organisation that installs the App remains responsible for determining how its Jira Service Management data is used and managed. JSM LaunchPad operates only as a configuration tool within that environment.

Information the App Accesses

To function, the App interacts only with configuration information required to create and manage Assets schemas. This may include:

• schema names
• object type names
• attribute definitions
• relationship definitions
• configuration metadata

The App does not access operational service desk tickets, ticket conversations, attachments, knowledge articles, or email message bodies.

Information the App Does Not Access

The App does not read or retrieve:

• request conversations
• ticket comments
• attachments or uploaded files
• end-user communications
• knowledge base article content
• email message content

The App operates only on Assets configuration structures necessary to deploy templates.

Personal Data Processed by the Application

JSM LaunchPad does not collect or store customer business data, tickets, issue content, attachments, or CMDB records outside the Atlassian platform.

The application processes limited user context provided by Atlassian Forge solely to operate within the customer's Jira Service Management instance. This includes:

• Atlassian account ID
• User permission context
• Organisation and site identifiers necessary for authorisation

This data is provided by Atlassian at runtime and is not used for profiling, marketing, analytics, or tracking. The application does not access email addresses, names, or user-generated content.

Let's Talk Solutions Ltd acts as a data processor for this limited user context, while the customer organisation remains the data controller.

Where Processing Occurs

All processing occurs within the Atlassian Forge platform and the customer's Jira Cloud tenant.

Let's Talk Solutions does not receive copies of Assets objects, tickets, or attachments outside the Atlassian environment.

No customer operational data is transmitted to our own servers.

Optional API Token

Some optional configuration features allow a customer to provide an Atlassian API token to create specific reference types in Assets.

If provided:

• the token is stored in encrypted Forge storage
• the token remains within the Atlassian Cloud environment
• we do not have direct access to the token outside the app context
• the token can be revoked by the customer at any time via Atlassian account settings

We never request Atlassian account passwords.

Support Communications

If you contact us for support via email or the support portal, we may receive personal information you choose to provide, including:

• name
• email address
• organisation name
• configuration details
• screenshots or diagnostic information

This information is used solely to provide technical support and resolve issues with the App.

Support requests are retained only as long as necessary to provide support, troubleshoot issues, and improve service quality. We do not sell or share this information with third parties.

Support information is processed for the legitimate interest of providing technical assistance and maintaining the reliability of the App.

Data Storage and Retention

JSM LaunchPad does not persist customer data outside Atlassian Cloud.

Any operational data stored in Atlassian Forge storage exists only to support application functionality and is automatically removed when:

• the app is uninstalled
• the associated schema is removed
• the data is no longer required for operation

No personal data is retained by Let's Talk Solutions Ltd after uninstall.

Support communications are retained only for operational support purposes and may be deleted upon request where legally permissible.

In-App Operational Metrics

JSM LaunchPad records lightweight operational metrics within your Jira Cloud instance to power the in-app activity dashboard. These metrics include:

• Aggregated usage counters (for example, number of deployments, exports, or scans performed)
• Success and failure counts per operation type
• A rolling log of the most recent 20 events (event type, timestamp, and outcome only)

These metrics are stored exclusively in Atlassian Forge storage within your own Jira Cloud tenant. They are visible to your administrators on the app's home screen and in the diagnostics bundle.

Third-Party Services

The JSM LaunchPad application does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The App communicates only with Atlassian Cloud services required for Jira Service Management functionality.

The JSM LaunchPad documentation site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics service. Plausible does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and does not track users across sites. No analytics data from the documentation site is linked to your Jira instance or App usage. Plausible is hosted in the European Union.

International Data Transfers

Because the App runs on Atlassian Cloud infrastructure, data processing is subject to Atlassian's data residency and international transfer mechanisms.

Information about Atlassian's security certifications and privacy safeguards can be found in Atlassian's public documentation.

Your Rights

Your rights regarding personal data are governed by applicable data protection laws, including UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable.

Requests relating to personal data stored within Jira Service Management should be directed to the organisation that controls the Jira instance.

Website Usage

The JSM LaunchPad website does not use advertising cookies or behavioural tracking.

The documentation site at guides.jsm-launchpad.com uses Plausible Analytics to understand page-level usage patterns. Plausible is a cookie-free, privacy-focused service that collects no personal data and does not track individual visitors. No cookie consent banner is required.

The main website at jsm-launchpad.com does not use any analytics service.

Data Processing Addendum (DPA)

Let's Talk Solutions Ltd acts as a data processor for JSM LaunchPad. The app processes limited Atlassian user context (such as Atlassian Account ID) solely to perform application functions within Jira Service Management.

A Data Processing Addendum is available to customers upon request and forms part of the Terms of Service. Customers may request a copy by contacting security@jsm-launchpad.com.
